We went across to the Walgreens and bought ourselves bottled water and a large jug of milk which we kept in the small fridge. We did a ton of research before choosing this hotel and brought our own small electric kettle, instant coffee and tea bags. We stayed for 5 nights booked on Expedia but will definitely consider booking directly next time. The hotel has cut back on staff and the service is dismal. At the time of checkout I mentioned again my frustration with the hotel and the front staff was able to talk with a manager to comp one night’s resort fee. I have to say that the maintenance/security worker Dante from Cleveland was one of the only caring workers we came across. Front desk was slow to move us even though a service worker was in our room at 5:45 am trying repairs and called to get us moved. I was able to resolve things once I got home with guest services who mentioned that this issue would not have resolved itself. As mentioned I tried to resolve my double charge for my room, but the front desk person said that things eventually would resolve and not to worry. The line at front desk staff was always long, and they had minimal training to be able to help with issues. Unfortunately the hotel is understaffed and undertrained. The online key unfortunately rarely worked and I repeatedly waited in line at the front desk so that they could reset my digital key. The online process also meant not having to go to the front desk as your phone had a digital key to access your room. I gave credit details and chose my room online.
